Mission-03 Details
This system is based up an old filter, Tony-1, which was developed many years ago by a member of the same name.
Tony-1 selections weren't particularly profitable in their own right but after adding in a few filters, mostly concerning the Class and Weight Differentials (either one year of five year differentials) and then this sprung to life. As a rule the 1 Year Differentials seem to do better on hurdles and flat racing, perhaps because of the longetivity of the horses running on these race types.
A Tony-1 flagged horse, incidentally, is one where the Jockey's rating is in excess of 100, the Trainer's is at least 110, the horse is within the top three of the rated horses in a race and the trainer's recent form (TrForm) is 80 or higher. All such horses should be running within Great Britain as a final qualifier.
With about one or two selections a day this is a nice little system.
Rules
All of these requirements have to be met.
GB Top-3 Rated
Jockey Rating >= 100
Trainer Rating >= 110
TrForm >= 80
Additionally the following have to be met for the Race Types:
All Weather:
Aged between 4 and 7, inclusive
Profitable TJC (Trainer/Jockey/Course)
OR
Positive 5 year class differential
Top-2 rated
Flat:
Alarms 'd' or 'e'
Racing at Ascot, Chester, Doncaster, Goodwood, Newbury, Sandown, Thirk or York
Hurdle:
Handicap
Positive 1 year class differential
Chase:
Non-Handicap
Positive sum of 5 year class differential and 5 year weight differential
